Sunset Laguna Beach Engagement

I’m obsessed with this sunset Laguna Beach engagement! Ariel + Wendy are one of my wedding couples and the sweetest people. Wendy was a referral from a past bride & I’m so grateful for the referral! As a small business owner, word of mouth referrals mean the world!

At first, we were planning to shoot at Victoria Beach but after driving around for 20 minutes looking for parking, we changed locations! Despite the last minute change, their session went wonderfully & they rocked their photos!

We hiked down to the beach and immediately found a little spot to shoot at! The sunset was beautiful and it cast the best golden light on everything! This Crystal Cove beach session had perfect southern California vibes. What better way to show you’re in California than a sunset Laguna Beach engagement shoot?

Also, when Wendy told me she wanted shots running in the water, I was stoked! The water was freezing, thankfully it was a warm summer evening. I tried a few new poses during this session & I’m really glad I did! I pull a lot of inspiration off of Pinterest and it’s also helpful to my clients!
