When Kristin reached out to me to shoot their small Escondido backyard elopement, I was stoked! I had never shot a backyard elopement before and could not wait to create unforgettable memories for them. They had to postpone their elopement due to Covid-19 and we were all happy to finally be there for them!
As soon as I got to their house, their family warmly greeted me. Tyler’s parent’s house was gorgeous and it felt like home. Kristin was getting ready in a separate room and you could see how excited she was! Also, they had a beautiful backyard where they set up for the ceremony.
As the ceremony started you could see how happy Tyler was. They had their closest friends and family sitting in the backyard to celebrate the both of them. The intimate ceremony was short and sweet as these two finally got married!
After the ceremony, we took some family formals before heading off to explore around the house for their sunset portraits. They had a small golf course across the street and we had permission to shoot there with the best light coming in!
In sum, this Escondido backyard elopements was the greatest time! It’s so laidback and intimate and offers a great way to spend time with your close friends and family!
Above all, I’m so honored to have been able to capture their special day! Interested in booking an elopement with me? Head over to my contact page here to send me an inquiry! If you need ideas on where to elope, check out this blog!
