Big Sur Surprise Proposal

A sweet morning at this Big Sur surprise proposal!! When Stephen first reached out to me for this proposal, I could tell how excited he was to ask the question! I helped him pick a location and we got to planning!

I woke up bright and early and got to our location early so that Sierra wouldn’t expect me! Stephen asked Sierra to marry him at the prettiest spot in Big Sur!

Big Sur proposals are so popular and for a great reason! It’s a great spot for engagements, proposals, and especially elopements! There are so many different options in Big Sur for your session. Depending on the vibe you want, I can offer some great locations for your shoot with me.

However, since this is such a gorgeous location for photos, it can get pretty busy. I typically recommend my clients to shoot here on a weekday where there aren’t as many people. If you we do end up shooting on a weekend, sunrise sessions are a better option (like we did here)!

After we finished up on the cliffs, we went down to the beach to take more photos. Sierra was a natural in front of the camera and these two were so happy after the proposal! We had the whole beach to ourselves and just hung out and took in the views. Also, look at how cute their outfits are??
