Moody Glen Oaks Elopement

Jacob + Abby and the most intimate day at this moody Glen Oaks elopement!

Their elopement day was rainy but that didn’t stop them from cherishing each other. We met up and hiked down in the rain to their ceremony spot. Thankfully we weren’t too wet with our clear umbrellas and rain coats!

We found a perfect little spot under the redwoods for the ceremony! The tall redwoods made for a perfect spot for their ceremony since it was raining. These two exchanged vows and we had the whole area to ourselves!

After the ceremony, we walked around Glen Oaks and found little areas to shoot in! The rain stopped long enough for us to explore the campground and take in the magnificent redwoods. We even walked across the bridge to the infamous “Fairy Circle” to get some photos!

Since it was raining, it got darker faster than usual. We all embraced it and finished the elopement with them dancing under the redwood trees!

Glen Oaks Big Sur

Glen Oaks Big Sur is the perfect venue to have an intimate elopement. The cabins are rustic on the outside but updated and modern inside! It’s also the perfect location if you want a venue that has redwoods and avoids the crowds. There’s even a suspension bridge you can take to a circle of redwoods known as the Fairy Circle!

In sum, it was the a beautiful and moody Glen Oaks elopement! I love being able to document one of the most important days of people’s lives and see them embrace the weather that comes with eloping in Big Sur.
