San Francisco

One location you’ll love in northern California is San Francisco! A city full of culture and life, this is a great mix of both city life and beauty. You can have the elegance of historical homes, but also could escape to the epic waterfront greenery on the bay. 

San Francisco will give your love story the perfect entrance! This location is without a doubt a sight for sore eyes. 

Sequoia National Park

Another stunning elopement location is Sequoia National Park. Not only does Sequoia National Park hold the largest Sequoia trees, but the atmosphere promotes nothing but calm vibes. When looking up at the huge Sequoia trees you and your boo will feel super grounded! 

There’s something to be said about the honey-colored bark against the forest lighting. This location is nothing short of majestic, which is what any elopement truly deserves. It definitely deserves a spot on my list of top 5 elopement locations in northern California! 

Yosemite National Park

My favorite thing about Yosemite National Park is how stunning it is year-round. Fall, Winter, Summer, Spring, your elopement photos will turn out gorgeous. This spot is absolutely picture perfect for you big day. 

Yosemite National Park has tons of over-the-top views! The entire park is a sight to see, and I would love to take your elopement photos here. Between the waterfalls and cliffs, you can share some very special moments with your partner. 

Big Sur

I need to take a minute to talk about Big Sur, because wow! This one is on my top engagement locations in northern California for good reason. This location takes countless efforts of preservation to keep it so beautiful. 

This underdeveloped coastline in northern California is a spectacle for anyone who appreciates, well, mother nature. You and your boo will get tons of postcard worthy shots from your elopement at Big Sur. There’s no doubt. 

Big Sur is wildly romantic, and one of my favorite suggestions to give couples for their elopement location. 

Point Reyes

If you want something unique, Point Reyes is a great option. Wide open spaces give this location a seaside country feel. The dramatic views of Drakes Beach are the perfect backdrop for your wedding day. 

I can’t mention Point Reyes without mentioning the cute light house with a stunning background! I mean, come on! Point Reyes is such an amazing spot to elope in northern California.
