One of my favorite Southern California elopement locations is Joshua Tree National Park. My absolute favorite time to take pictures here is at sunset!! In addition, this park offers unique desert vegetation with the most stunning sunset backdrops. This place is just one you HAVE to experience.
The staple Joshua Trees, cactus, and big rock boulders will give your elopement photos a simple charm. This beautiful landscape is the perfect elopement location for those really wanting something personal and unique. This park provides a great escape to the outdoors, and then you may even want to get yourself a permit to extend your stay!
Coronado Beach
Another popular Southern California location is Coronado Beach. I definitely recommend this location on a weekday as this spot is a local favorite. People travel from all over to experience this picture perfect location. With it’s incredibly white sands and the iconic Hotel del Coronado, this location looks like something out of a postcard!
Coronado beach is also really perfect for the timeless beach elopement photos. Warning, you will be tempted to take some water pictures with the perfect golden sunset, so come prepared! There is nothing sweeter than newlyweds walking down the beach hand in hand. What better place to pose than this lovely Southern California location.
Sunset Cliffs
Sunset Cliffs is one of my absolute favorite elopement locations. This magnificent cliff gives the most dramatic backdrop. Imagine your photos filled with the ocean as blue as a crystal and an enchanting aqueous sunset?? This locations give a great opportunity for a romantic cliffside photo as the waves crash in the background!
You also have the chance for some epic elopement pictures with the historic keyhole cliff. This is an absolute favorite spot for a focused photo that surrounding by a gorgeous spectacle of nature. This intriguing keyhole rock formation is perfect for the couple who holds the key to each other’s hearts.
Ramona Grasslands
If you’re looking for a more unique elopement location I would have you consider Ramona Grasslands. This location offers fields of grass, organic wildflowers and simplicity.
