Mt. Laguna Engagement | Kris + Amanda

A golden fall evening with Kris + Amanda at this Mt. Laguna engagement session! Kris + Amanda are such a beautiful couple & I was so excited when she reached out to me to shoot her wedding. This was their engagement session to prep for their big day and they killed it!

I could’ve sworn Kris + Amanda were models because they were such naturals! It felt like we were just hanging out and taking pictures in between. We frolicked around the hills and forest all while taking cute photos!

Mt. Laguna is a perfect location for a green + golden forest background. It’s a great spot for engagements, family, and especially elopements. This location is close to Julian and offers an alternative California vibe. You can make a day of it and head to Julian for some yummy apple pie and browse all of the cute shops!

However, depending on the year, this whole location can be covered in snow! Keep that in mind if you decide you’d like a shoot similar to this. The snow is gorgeous up here usually in the beginning of the year.

After an outfit change, we hung out on this super cute blanket and then finished off with a little special debut of their dogs!
