Big Sur Engagement | Brooke + Tris

A beautiful evening at this Big Sur engagement session! Brooke + Tristan are such a beautiful couple & I was so excited to work with them! These cuties are my cousins and when they wanted to shoot with me, I was stoked!

Brooke told me they wanted cliff views and wanted somewhere that embodied Big Sur! I knew Garrapata State Park would be the perfect spot for them.

Big Sur is a perfect location for so many different types of sessions! It’s a great spot for engagements, lifestyle, and especially elopements! This location is just near Monterey and offers so many unique options. Depending on what you want, there is a beach option as well as stunning cliffside views.

However, since this is such a gorgeous location for photos, it can get pretty busy. I typically recommend my clients to shoot here on a weekday where there aren’t as many people. If you we do end up shooting on a weekend, sunrise sessions are a better option!

After we finished up in the fields, we drove a little bit further down to get some stunning ocean views. We joked around and hiked the trails at this Big Sur engagement shoot.
