Santa Cruz Beach Engagement

All of the summer vibes at this Santa Cruz beach engagement! Caitlin + Elijah are such a sweet couple & I was so excited to work with them! Their energy was great from the start and they were pumped to shoot here.

Caitlin + Elijah had the cutest outfits that went great with their location. I offer all of my clients a session guide that has outfit tips to help them look this cute! Wearing layers and neutral colors are always a safe bet for your photoshoot.

Natural Bridges state beach is a perfect location for so engagements! It’s a smaller beach with an iconic keyhole rock and pretty ocean views. This location is in Santa Cruz and offers so many unique backdrops (including some green) Depending on the time of year, low tide is around sunset and it makes for such a gorgeous background.

However, since this is such a gorgeous location for photos, it can get pretty busy. I typically recommend my clients to shoot here on a weekday where there aren’t as many people. It’s a smaller beach so if it gets busy, it’ll be a little harder to shoot here.

We started up by the bluffs, there are some really pretty we went down to the beach to get our feet wet. Grace was ready to run into the ocean and you can tell we had a blast.
