Intimate Big Sur Vow Renewal

One of my favorite shoots to date is this intimate Big Sur vow renewal between Chelsea + Kayla. Coming all the way from Georgia, Kayla reached out wanting to document such a special occasion. In the initial emails, I knew that we would get along so well! We bonded over both being from Georgia and she gave me a little peak into her and Chelsea’s love story. I really enjoy getting to hear about my clients and how they met each other, it’s one of my favorite things about being a photographer!

As we were chatting, we decided to start their vow renewal at the beautiful Garrapata State Park. The iconic Big Sur cliff views were a must. Also, this time of year (July) the yellow wildflowers are in full bloom! We of course had to include their daughter, Luna in some shots and she’s a natural in front of the camera!

Once we finished walking around the cliffs and taking in the views, we moved down to the beach. I took Chelsea + Kayla to this beautiful overlook to exchange their vows. It was so windy but I’m living for the moody vibes paired with Kayla’s dress movement! I’m obsessed with the Big Sur views paired with the emotional moments in this session. This intimate Big Sur vow renewal then ended on the beach with these two popping a bottle to celebrate.
